Henna Kit

Make sure your client understands the important steps to be carried out prior to Brow Henna treatment. These steps are essential to ensure long lasting and powerful results. 

• Allergy patch test on the skin is a must before any application procedures, at least 24-48 hours prior to use.
• Prior to application, skin should be cleansed and free of oils and makeup.
• Ensure no self-tanning products are used on the skin prior as this will alter the shade of Brow Henna. 
• Do not apply Retin-A, AHA around the brows for 72 areas before procedure.

Add 10-12 drops of the Rose Water fixing solution to your mixing dish with one capsule of Brow Code Henna colour. Make sure the capsule powder and Rose Water are mixed to a good consistency. Please note the ‘white seeds’ are an important part of the pigmentation process and will remain undissolved. This helps the Henna colour develop to full strength. Let mixture sit for 5-10 mins until Henna Powder forms a caramel consistency.

Use the Brow Conditioning Cleanser to cleanse brows before Henna application. Apply the cleanser directly on brows and gently move finger tips around in a circular motion to form a lather. Once oils and/or makeup is removed, use a dry cotton pad and wipe off cleanser from the brows.

Gently exfoliate the brow area using the Brow Scrub. The fruit enzyme exfoliant is essential to remove any build-up of dead skin cells & allows the henna to create a more even and longer-lasting stain. Remove all traces from skin and brows using a moist cotton pad and let them dry completely.

Carefully apply the first layer of henna to one brow at a time to create your desired shape. Apply the second layer to each brow and keep the area moist by applying small amounts of Rose Water, which allows the Henna to continue to develop during this time. If you like a rich, dark stain you can apply an additional layer. Let the Henna sit on your brows for up to 25 mins to allow a full colour development.

Gently wipe off the Henna paste with a moist cotton pad. Do this in an outwards motion and in only one direction to maintain the shape of the brows. Pro Tip: Do not scrub back and forth as this can remove the Henna stain.

To ensure nourishment post-treatment, apply 1-2 drops of Brow Gold Oil onto the brows and gently massage in with fingertips. The Brow Gold Oil helps to lock in the colour for a longer-lasting stain whilst adding extra moisture and shine to each hair, creating fuller, healthier brows.

Advise your client of the correct aftercare procedures that need to be undertaken at home. It’s important to follow these correctly to ensure a long-lasting Henna stain on the brows.

24 Hours Post Application

• Avoid heat treatments.
• Keep the brow area dry and free of any products.
• Do not apply brow makeup. 
• Avoid sunbathing and sun exposure.
• Avoid swimming, saunas, and sweating.

48 Hours Post Application 

• Do not undertake this treatment alongside Lamination.

72 Hours Post Application

• Do not apply Retin-A, AHA around the brow area.

Daily Aftercare

• Do not exfoliate or rub the brow area post application as this will cause the Henna to fade quicker. 
• Apply Brow Code Brow Growth Oil daily to keep brows nourished & healthy.
